How do we collect information from you?
We obtain information about you when you contact our office or use our website, for example, when you contact us about products and services.
What type of information is collected from you?
The personal information we collect might include your name, address, email address, IP address, telephone number and (regarding the website) information regarding what pages are accessed and when. We currently do not take payments online.

If you would like someone else to deal with your policy on your behalf on a regular basis, please let us know and we will update our records. If at any time you would prefer us to deal only with you, please contact us and we will remove the person(s) authority from our systems after written confirmation is received.

Security precautions in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of your information
When you give us personal information, we take steps to ensure that it’s treated securely. We do not take any sensitive information on our website. Sensitive information is only handled by an experienced operator either over the phone or any documents that have been emailed or posted in to ourselves.
Non-sensitive details (your email address etc.) are transmitted normally over the Internet, and this can never be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your information, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our systems.

16 or Under

Transferring your information outside of Europe
As part of the services offered to you, the information which you provide to us will not be transferred to countries outside the European Union (“EU”).
If you use our services while you are outside the EU, your information may be transferred outside the EU in order to provide you with those services.
Our website does not use any website recording on any page.
Motor Insurance Database
Information relating to your policy will be added to the Motor Insurance Database (MID) managed by the Motor Insurers’ Bureau (MIB). The MID and the data stored on it may be used by certain statutory and/or authorised bodies including the Police, the DVLA, the DVANI, the Insurance Fraud Bureau and other bodies permitted by law for purposes not limited to but including:
- Electronic Licensing (Tax Discs)
- Continuous Insurance Enforcement
- Law Enforcement (Prevention, Detection, Apprehension and/or Prosecution of Offenders)
- The Provision of government services and/or other services aimed at reducing the level and incidence of uninsured driving
If you are involved in a road traffic accident (either in the UK, the EEA or certain other territories), insurers and/or the MIB may search the MID to obtain relevant information. Persons (including his or her appointed representatives) pursuing a claim in respect of a road traffic accident (including citizens of other countries) may also obtain relevant information which is held on the MID
It is vital that the MID holds your correct registration number. It is important that you check your policy documents ensuring that the registration number is recorded correctly.
If it is incorrectly shown on the MID you are at risk of having your car seized by the Police. You can check that your correct registration number is shown on the MID at www.askMID.com
If the registration number is not shown correctly on your policy documents, or you cannot find your car on the MID, please contact us immediately.
Taxi Licensing Authority
If you are a taxi driver wishing to take out an insurance policy with us, we will, in conjunction with you, contact your local authority. The licensing authority will maintain a database off all drivers licensed to drive a hackney carriage or private hire vehicle within their area. We will use this information from the licensing authority to confirm you hold a valid taxi badge and your vehicle holds a valid taxi plate.
